There is still an enormous amount of work to be done, however. This journey to full production will take four long, intensive years and needs some funding element or financial stakeholders to join the project.
In December 2013 we presented a plan at the NEC-Flying Show 2013 and then the dreamsoarer privately at Duxford Museum. From those presentations, twenty people were recruited as intellectual stakeholders - from the twenty one people who have seen the aircraft.
This created our dream-team comprising both experts and aviation enthusiasts to assist the development.
Navig Aero is a start up aerospace manufacturing project creating outstanding aircraft that can change how we think about general aviation and personal transport.
The adventure begins July 1st 2014 although development is well under way with the help of the Dream-Team. £40,000 / 20% share start funding sought - although only £12,000 / €15,000 / SEK 135,000 is needed for the first gate and secures 6% of the project.
As an alternative, we are pursuing the AtlanticRanger scheme to build aircraft exactly tuned to customer need and get a better chance for multiple kick-off orders.
